the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (also known as the "Toller") is a breed of dog originating in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. They are the smallest breed of retriever in the world, and were purposely bred to look like foxes.

Males can way from 44-51 pounds, and they can reach heights from around 19-20 inches. Females can way 37-44 pounds and grow up to 18-19 inches tall. They have a medium-length coat with a softer, dense undercoat, similar to a Golden Retriever. They come in coat colors varying shades of red and orange.

They are dogs of the AKC sporting group, and were bred for retrieving and hunting.
